The connectors are IP67 weatherproof rated ensuring the connectors are able to withstand water for up to 30 minutes at depths of 1 meter under mated condition. Non-conductive swing latches & tabs ensure connectors remain seated, sealed and safeguard against accidental disconnection due to extreme vibration. An externally mounted cable clamp secures cable to the housing and provides stable wire management. It is important to note that unlike KST standard and GX 2-Pole connectors, KST Sealed 2-Pole connectors are not genderless, and come in two distinct and separate male and female sets.
